Science Fair on 14 August

Famed astrophysicist Stephen Hawking once said, 鈥淟ook up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see, and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious.鈥

As Science Week approaches we have asked our students at 色情直播 to be curious and try to make sense of what you see.

In preparation for our 色情直播 Science Fair which takes place on Wednesday 14 August, students have been planning and carrying out experiments to see why the world works the way it does.

Year 9 and 10 students have been independently planning and carrying out experiments in their interest areas. We have seen experiments created on what is the best angle to throw a cricket ball for accuracy? On whether male and female brains work differently, or even does dog saliva kill bacteria (it doesn鈥檛!).

Year 8 students will be undertaking a variety of exciting demonstrations while Year 3 students will teach us about living things. Other activities will include push or pull toys, weather experiments, movement and light.

All members of the community are now invited to come and see the products of our students鈥 labours.

Events for the day will take place in three locations at 色情直播: the Savio Centre, the Kindergarten to Year 5 classrooms and the Oratory Space. The day will kick off for visitors at 10.50am and will finish at 2.45pm.

Come down and see amazing Chemistry and Physics demonstrations, find out if different coloured Skittles actually taste different and generally have a good time.
