Commemorating the 70th anniversary of the arrival of the Child Migrants

​On Wednesday 3 August É«ÇéÖ±²¥ commemorated 70 years since the arrival of the Former British Child Migrants, when 39 young boys arrived at Boys’ Town in 1952 from orphanages in Great Britain. Six of these children were able to attend our assembly and receive our proud acknowledgement and sincere thanks for helping our school to grow in the early days and for helping us to understand and appreciate our heritage and history.

Year 7 Camp Week Salesian Immersion

In recent years the College has been developing ways that students can learn about the history of É«ÇéÖ±²¥ and the experiences of its students. A successful innovation has been the introduction of a Salesian Immersion program during the Tear 7 Camp Week. While two of the four House groups are attending camp, the other two Houses undertake activities including a History Walk, Salesian games, art and journals, cooking "dodgers" and potatoes in the ashes and a drama intensive "In Their Shoes".

Christmas Eve carols and Mass

On Christmas Eve each year, old scholars and friends of É«ÇéÖ±²¥ celebrate with carols and Mass in the É«ÇéÖ±²¥ Chapel, in memory of Br Peter Dezani SDB. The ceremony this year saw a good congregation of old scholar families, current families, some new and some old faces.

2021 Hall of Achievement induction

It has now become an annual tradition for two old scholars to be inducted into the É«ÇéÖ±²¥ Hall of Achievement and in 2021 the College celebrated the contributions of Dr Tim Tenbensel (1980) to Academia and Sr Mary-Clare Holland OP (1966) to Community Service.
