Inaugural Year 3 - Year 10 Cross Country Carnival

On Friday 25 May a large part of the Dominic community came together for the inaugural 3-10 Cross Country.

A day full of fun, cheering, competitiveness and sportsmanship ensued in what can only be seen as a huge success. Having a 3-10 event has been a dream for a long while and it came to successful fruition last Friday. We are all keen to stick with this format for 2019 and beyond.

Thanks sincerely to the staff, students, parents and friends who made the day a success, we really appreciate all of the hours that go into such a day. The inaugural winners of the year 3-10 trophy were Bosco House. In the 3-6 Shield Savio House managed to take the win. Congratulation to all students for your commitment on the day, it was truly a pleasure to watch.

Our 7-10 students did a wonderful job showing leadership and we were able to combine as full House groups alongside the Year 3-6 students for the very first time.

The atmosphere during the day was fantastic and there were a large range of activities happening throughout the whole day. Alongside their main event, each year group participated in an Egg Throwing Competition, Tug of War and Tennis Ball Catch.

Bosco won the 7-10 Shield and also the overall inaugural 3-10 Trophy. Congratulations to all students.
