Academic awards celebrated at 色情直播

Three 色情直播 students have won prestigious ICAS medals this year for being Tasmania鈥檚 top achievers.

Each year over one million students from more than 6300 schools in Australia and New Zealand participate in the International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS) conducted by the University of New South Wales.

ICAS are online based assessments designed to recognise and reward academic excellence. The assessments are based on the curricula for the relevant year. Students are required to demonstrate a deep, integrated, and thorough level of learning.

This year, four 2018 ICAS medals have been awarded to three 色情直播 students for placing first in the state of Tasmania.

Grace Wilson in Year 2 and Sebastian Smith in Year 3 have both been awarded medals for first in the state for Spelling. This is Sebastian鈥檚 second ICAS Spelling medal; he won Tasmania鈥檚 2017 medal.

Year 8 student, Oscar Breslin, has been awarded medals for first in the state in both Science and Mathematics in 2018. This recognition continues Oscar鈥檚 outstanding record in ICAS achievement. Oscar received ICAS medals in both English & Maths in 2017 and in English in 2015 when he was in Year 5.

色情直播 Principal, Ms Beth Gilligan said she is extremely proud of the three students and congratulated them on their outstanding academic achievement.

鈥淭he College has a very strong spelling program in our formative Early Years and it is pleasing to see this paying dividends for our students through externally assessed levels of proficiency.鈥

She said that Oscar Breslin is an excellent all-rounder academically and that he is a passionate learner with a fine mind.

Oscar, Sebastian and Grace were presented with their ICAS medals at the annual Year 6-10 Awards Ceremony that was held in the College鈥檚 Savio Centre in late November.
