On 19 November 2021, following the special school assembly, a large group of old scholars and friends gathered for a special evening of celebrations and reminiscences, including many of our legendary Former British Child Migrants, three of our famous Hall of Achievement inductees, and a spread of young to old former students and families.
The occasion was also the launch of É«ÇéÖ±²¥â€™s publication ‘May Our Lives Reflect’ which presents the lives of 75 old scholars across the years, whose experiences at school and since, help us to frame the role of education, friendship and commitment.
You will be able to view and download the publication, when the link is ready, here: .
In addition, 17 old scholars were presented with unique Don Bosco medals, congratulating them for their past and ongoing commitment to volunteer at É«ÇéÖ±²¥ in a variety of capacities.
The skill of the Stage Band who musically welcomed the attendees and the harmony of the Boys Choir who performed for our guests, was much appreciated. Originally planned for August and to host as many of the Salesians who had taught at Dominic as we could, travel restrictions from the mainland forced a scaled-down but nevertheless very enjoyable event. Congratulations to Fr Bernie and the Salesians on 75 years at Boys’ Town, Savio and É«ÇéÖ±²¥.
